Blinds To Go

Where should I begin. I will start at the fact that the only good thing about Blinds to go is that they are cheap. We went during there anniversary sale and got an amazing price 50% off and they allow you to combine coupons so if you go get the Valpak coupons ($50 off coupon) they will honor both. The blinds are definitely not the best quality, but you get what you pay for and for our purposes they look very nice in our apartment. This is where I have absolutely nothing else good to say about them. Every single step of the way I had issues. They have absolutly the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life and there employees are obviously not trained in how to treat or deal with customers. They have a terrible system at the store where you have to sign in and then wait for a representative to help you when they get to your name on the list. This wouldn't be a bad system if it was used properly. First of all no one tells you that you need to sign this list when you walk in the store. Problem #2 some of the employees are following the list while others are answering peoples questions when they just walked in the store and people have waited for over an hour. When we went back to finalize our order which would have taken all of 5 mins we waited for an hour and a half to speak with someone. Now I have no problem waiting, but my issue was that we had been next on the list and one of the women helping people finished up a customer and someone that literally walked in 5 mins before then asked the women a question and the women started answering which if theres a list the only answer that lady should get is sign your name on the list and i will help you because thats the answer we got. As I was listening in the customer told the woman that she just needed to finalize her order(the same reason I was there) and the woman actually helped her finalize her order which there was issues with the order so that took a half an hour. There was about 15 people that have been waiting for atleast a half hour or longer and this women walks right in and the sales person doesnt even tell her she needs to wait and helps her in front of everyone else. There was even a woman that walked in the store and told an employee that she wanted to speak to a manager about a complaint and she had to wait an hour and still hadn't spoken to anyone. TERRIBLE way to run a business. Then when my name was called I said to the women that if there going to have a list they need to follow it because were all listening and very upset that she helped the lady that had just walked in before all of us and the woman said well she just had to finalize her order and I said well half of the people are here for the same reason. The woman continued to argue with me saying that she had announced in the store if there was anyone there to finalize there orders that they could cut the list which is clearly a lie because I was purposely standing right there to hear all of it and when we walked in we thought we would be able to cut the list since it was such a fast thing but we spoke to someone who said no we had to sign the list. Lets just say the employees are all on a different page and our very rude and have no customer service skills. Then I scheduled a date for the blinds to be installed. I get a call from blinds to go at 12pm the exact time the installer is suppose to be installing that I never paid my bill. Which was another mistake by the woman that we got into an argument with because she took our card thats why we waited an hour and half and she never swiped the card. I was so angry because we had carpeting being installed in an hour and I was at work in a meeting and thought everything was good to go. So I find this out when I get out of a meeting and blinds to go had left a message saying that they were at the apartment and wouldnt be allowed to install the blinds until I called back and paid. So I began to call them and try to get this done asap so it and they DONT answer there phone. I called 15 times literally and I kept getting a message “sorry we are unavailable at this time, the best time to call is a half hour before we open and after we close. goodbye” and it hangs up. They finnally answered after after the 20th time and I paid my bill and the blinds began to be installed and the guy gets to the living room and the blinds were the wrong size (the installer measured and it wasnt his measurements that were wrong) Blinds to go had cut them to the wrong size. So it has been a week and I am still waiting for my blinds to be installed and once again blinds to go hasnt even called to apologize or say they are trying to rush. Would only go there if I really needed to go very cheap again and there was no other option on the planet. These people gave me more problems then any one else we worked with painters, contractors, multiple furniture stores, carpet ect.
