These are some some incredibly creative ideas! I love how these designs make the most of small spaces. Another option is to purchase furniture with multiple purposes. A great choice is a Zoom-Room or Zoom-Desk. Zoom-Room is a 21st century version of the Murphy Bed. It’s a remote controlled retractable Wall Bed that snakes up behind the cabinet instead of folding down, so you can put your flat screen TV or bookshelves in front. The Zoom-Room is customizeable with custom cabinets, home office accessories, finishes, and materials. It combines both function and great design.

For those without a ton of time or patience, this site will net you some pretty cool wall art ideas you can print at home for FREE. A popular idea for the less creative sort, too. Check out all the cool things you can instantly print and frame. (or not)

Love the photos, really gave me some ideas on decorating my next flat. The bedroom in the new property is quite small but the walls are painted in a cream colour – will be easy to pick the right elements to decorate it. Since I’m a tenant, I’ll have to find non-destructive ways of decorating the place. I will also have to think how I’ll remove and clean the place when my tenancy comes to an end, but this isn’t a problem since London is full of shops and I have plenty of things to choose from.

I am always looking for interesting ways to display my photos so I can enjoy them and show them off. I don’t want ordinary, though, and am avoiding making a big gallery wall like my moms at all costs. This creative idea for photos is super simple but it totally works. Print your filtered instagram prints for an ultra cool effect. I wonder if people will even be printing photos 5 years from now. Who knows…

Yep. I know this may be going just a tad bit overboard, as this is a dollar store craft, an mason jar craft and also a DIY project using string lights, but hey, this is what is popular, right? Reminds me a little bit of the redneck wine glass, unfortunately, but these are actually very pretty and a perfect choice for teen girl bedroom decor. Add garlands of stars for an extra effect and you get to decide whether your string lights will be clear or colorful. A candlestick compliments of the dollar store, some E600 glue, and you are ready to make this easy DIY idea. LED lights strings with batteries are also avail for $1 at Michaels or a dollar store. Be sure to get cordless LEDs for this DIY project.

It’s true, bedrooms are for sleeping, but the ambiance a bedroom has before the lights are turned off is very important. Appropriate decor can help you relax, dream better, and perhaps set the mood for more… aerobic activities. Here are some examples of bedrooms that have been given that extra level of creativity.

I all honesty, I don’t see how this is supposed to help make the most out of a small room. First of all, they just look like normal bedrooms. And anyay, I guess it’s not what I googled for. The reason I was looking for a post on how to maximize on small room space is because right now my bedroom is also my living room is also my office. I live in NY and I am SURE I am not the only person with this sort of living arrangement. Real estate costs. And quite frankly we are paying for every cubic inch of space in a room here in the city, meaning loft beds and over head storage and really anything and everything to maximize on space and provide order to a multi-purpose room. I don’t need to make my small space LOOK bigger. For what? I need it to feel functionally bigger, since I can’t actually have it bigger.

Apart from sleeping there are many other activities people enjoy in their bedrooms. They read, knit, meditate and listen music. Bedroom decorating with unusual bed and interesting decor accessories create not only comfortable, but unique and personal interior design.

But we narrowed it down a little to our top 100 favorite ideas. Whether you’re into metallics or neon, color block or obmre, 2D or 3D there’s an idea here to fit your home and your budget. Be sure to tell us in the comments which is your favorite.

Yeah, it would be cool if there were ideas that were a bit more do-able for average budgets. Plus, kids will grow out of these things too.

These are some really great designs for anyone with smaller bedrooms! A lot of people choose to go with less or smaller furniture, in order to maximize floor space. But I’ve always preferred some of the ideas put forward here, like full-wall shelving and other ways to maximize space.

Jordan Ferney, who created Oh Happy Day, has some of the most creatively cool ideas ever. Most of them are not terrible expensive, either. This one uses colored cupcake wrappers to dress up Christmas lights. Easy DIY idea for your room, one that is pretty much assured not to be another Pinterest fail.
