Wooden Window Blinds

Wood Blinds Wood blinds are classic, traditional, and elegant. They can add a richness and sophistication to any space. Because we know wood window treatments aren’t one-style-fits-all, we’ve made sure to offer a vast selection, giving you everything you need to find the perfect wood window blinds for your home and for your lifestyle. Wood window coverings are made from quality, natural hard woods, like basswood and American hardwood. They’re lightweight, making them perfect for large or wide windows. And because they’re lightweight, they won’t bow or bend as easily as other types of treatments. They’ll look great and last longer, giving you the most for your money. The Colors and Stains Just because wood and basswood blinds are made from natural materials doesn’t mean you're limited when it comes to colors and stains. With everything from bright white to dark cherry or mahogany, you’ll easily find the perfect color or stain to match your existing interior design, or to even create your dream design. With so many colors and stains to choose from, finding the perfect wooden window blinds has never been so easy. We’ve also made it simple to coordinate your wood window treatments throughout your entire house. With 3 different slat sizes, including 1”, 2”, and 2 ½”, you can make sure every window and door has the right sized wood blinds, but still keep a consistent, continuous, streamlined design. The Options One of the many great things about wood blinds for your home is all the available options, features, and upgrades to choose from. You can customize blinds to meet your needs and match your lifestyle seamlessly. Here are just some of the options you’ll find as you explore our huge selection of wooden blinds: Cordless Lift Systems A cordless lift system is available on all wood window coverings. A cordless wood blind lift option is perfect in homes with young children and pets. It's modern, convenient, and easy to use. Multiple Blinds on One Headrail If you have a wide window and you want to use multiple wood products instead of one large one, choose 2 or 3 products on a single headrail. The wooden window blinds will work independently, but the single headrail creates beautiful cohesion. Sharing a headrail makes it easier to raise and lower the wooden slat blinds, and it keeps them from being too heavy and guards against bowing or damage. Ready to order your custom wood blinds? I ordered 3 of these for my 3 bedroom windows because they are set up next to each other as a bay window type situation and curtains would have been a hassle. I tried an outside mount first because I have fairly shallow window frames, and it looked fine that way, but then I changed them to inside mount and it actually looks a lot better even though the instructions say you need a depth of at least 3 inches. My window depth is only about 1 and 3/4 inch so I was worried about them sticking out too far but it looks fine and they seem sturdy. These are a fantastic price and look waaaaaay nicer than the builder-grade mini blinds I used to have. They also keep out more light than the mini blinds did so I can sleep better now. The ONLY issue I had was that they were supposed to be 27' across and were only 26.5 inches but it wasn't a big deal in my situation. These blinds are super nice and super inexpensive.

2 on 1 headrail 2 on 1 headrail / 3 on 1 headrail Larger window blinds become heavy and harder to lift. By having multiple blinds sharing a common headrail, each blind will come with its own controls and will operate independantly from the other blind(s). Things to consider: Because there must be a slight gap between each blind, consider the light and privacy issues. Align the gaps between the blinds with the divider rails in the windows.
