Blu-ray Home Theater System

Home Theater Systems There’s nothing that compares to the sonic and visual experience you can achieve through a home theater set-up consisting of the best possible equipment. We’ve made it a priority to carry home theater systems at prices that anyone can appreciate. Take a look at a few examples, which run the gamut from incredibly affordable systems to the most high-quality models. The primary draw, for many of those looking to acquire a home theater system, is the surround sound – hearing and feeling the strains of the musical score, sound effects and dialogue swirl around you and transport you to another place. A system worth its salt, so to speak, should have four satellite speakers, a center channel and a powerful subwoofer, to experience the loudest bass booms and the quietest dialogue in crystal clarity. Many systems at various price tiers feature that exact speaker layout. Those looking for a set-up that’s a little bit simpler and involves less chance of cables becoming confusingly intertwined can find systems with wireless speakers. While no sound system can be truly “wireless,” some feature two or more speakers that use an infra-red connection and help you cut down on clutter. Image is, of course, just as important. Your primary choice will be between a home theater with a Blu-ray or DVD player. The former can play films on either format, and obviously provides high sound and picture quality in resolution as high as 1080p. A system featuring the latter, meanwhile, will be significantly cheaper in almost all instances. Take a close look and you’ll be sure to find a home theater system that meets your needs and doesn’t make you break the bank.

I. Love the sound, however, I remain frustrated with the short cord. I need longer cords. I don't to call an electrician to cost me more than the Home Theater to get longer wires.

The setup for playing discs was beyond simple. i just unplugged the old dvd player and plugged in this one, adding the 5 speakers. It all worked beautifully. The setup for the wireless connection is not so simple. It found the wireless router, established the ssid and keyword, but it always says “connection failed”. No clue why. I have looked at the online help site, and only found what was in the manual, which was no help for this failure. I would like to be able to use Netflix with this system and my TV. Since I can use it on my computer with my wireless router, I should be able to use it with this system. I am frustrated.
